Backend & Infrastructure
Developer

I build systems that save money, run fast, and never go down. 2+ years turning infrastructure into competitive advantage through strategic optimization and event-driven architecture.

About Me

Engineering Efficiency. Maximizing Value.

I turn infrastructure into a competitive advantage.

For the past two years, I've been the sole engineer behind Amor Eterno's operations platform — a suite of internal apps, APIs, and self-hosted infrastructure spanning C#, Angular, Kotlin, and Go.

My focus is simple: cut costs, boost speed, and ensure reliability. I make strategic infrastructure decisions, whether cloud, hybrid, or self-hosted, based on what delivers the best value. Through SQL Server query monitoring and index optimization, I have slashed production latency by 90% (700ms to <50ms), and I'm now leading a SQL Server to PostgreSQL migration to cut licensing costs further.

I do not just write code. I build scalable solutions that drive profit and stability.

Comprehensive Administrative Platform

The Challenge

The company needed to shift from simple financial control to generating digital experiences to increase sales. Legacy systems failed to meet specific modern needs, such as real-time management of digital signage.

A multi-module system for funeral service management. Features include equipment tracking, AI-generated tribute text and original songs (OpenAI + Suno), real-time digital signage control, document storage, and live camera streaming. Includes client access portals and WhatsApp integration. Currently expanding with real-time slideshow tributes.

Event-Driven Receipt System

The Challenge

Receipts were previously paper-only. The company wanted to modernize by offering digital receipts to clients, requiring a scalable system to handle the transition.

Scalable processing system for handling high-volume receipt data. Uses message queues for asynchronous processing and reliability.

SQL Server Optimization & Payment Monitor

The Challenge

The previous process was painful and inefficient, causing employees to lose time and become frustrated due to critical failures and lack of visibility during high-traffic periods.

Optimized database performance to resolve critical failures in the payment monitor during high-traffic periods. Implemented indexing, normalization, and stored procedure tuning to ensure stability and efficiency.

Offline-First Android Sales App

The Challenge

Field sales reps need to close and print a sale with zero connectivity, with no room for a duplicate or lost sale if the app crashes mid-retry — a different consistency problem than the company's Logistics Android app already solved with a different strategy (delta sync).

Native Kotlin/Jetpack Compose sales app, in active development as an offline-first MVP. Shipped so far: Room as the durable local source of truth, encrypted session persistence, and atomic local caching of sales catalogs and device-scoped counters. Next up: an idempotent, single-transaction sync (durable correlation IDs surviving retries and process death) and Bluetooth thermal receipt printing — deliberately a different sync strategy than the Logistics app's ETag-based delta sync, matched to each domain's actual consistency needs.

Self-Hosted Platform Edge & Orchestration

The Challenge

A growing family of internal apps needed unified routing, TLS, live camera and event streaming, and observability — without taking on public cloud costs or lock-in.

Designed and operate the platform edge for the entire AE Suite: Caddy reverse proxy, k3s manifests and overlays, MediaMTX for HLS/WebRTC streaming, and a Docker Compose monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana, cAdvisor, PostgreSQL, Redis), plus backup automation and a CI/CD pipeline with automated k3s deployments.

PBX Call Automation & Voice Agent

The Challenge

Before committing to a full contact-center platform, the team needed to validate whether automated intent handling and spoken responses could actually work for inbound customer calls.

Proof-of-concept Go service bridging Issabel/Asterisk ARI call events with Google Cloud Text-to-Speech for automated call handling and playback, paired with a companion voice-agent configuration layer defining intents, tools, and generative response behavior — built to validate the approach before any production commitment.

Legacy ERP Modernization

The Challenge

Core operations — sales, receipts, viewing-room scheduling — ran on a decade-old VB.NET/GeneXus ERP with no real-time capability, and the new platform's API was querying straight across into that legacy database with broad, ungoverned permissions.

Kept the legacy VB.NET/GeneXus system running in production while designing and shipping its real-time replacement (Angular, C#, SignalR, live streaming) feature by feature. Closed the underlying security gap by authoring an architecture decision record that replaced direct cross-database queries into the legacy ERP with a governed API boundary and least-privilege database roles.
